Meet your Facilitators
- Hi! I’m Jessamyn (jess-ah-min, they/them). I'm a 2nd-generation Taiwanese settler on the traditional and stolen lands of the Musqueam Nation. I have big feelings about many things, including but not limited to: abolitionist care practices, food sovereignty, and queer bookstores. I am often growing food and flowers, befriending neighborhood animals, and thinking about bringing more animal friends into my life. If you have questions about QAC, what I do, or who I am, feel free to send me a message at [email protected]!
- Howdy! I’m Colby (they/them, he/him). I'm a white settler who grew up on the Traditional and Unceded Territory of the St'át'imc peoples, colonially known as Lillooet, BC, and currently live on Lheidli T'enneh Territory (Prince George). I volunteer as the Vice President of the Northern Pride Centre at UNBC and work as a Youth Research Associate with REIMAGYN-BC. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me lost on a trail somewhere, experimenting with new recipes, curating oddly specific playlists, or finding any excuse to share food with friends. Have questions about QAC, my work, or anything in between? Feel free to reach out at [email protected]!
