Announcement: The weather has cleared and we are H-O-T T-O G-O!!

Saddle up for a day of fun and friends at our Pink Pony Picnic! 🌸 Bring your besties as we dance the day away to our favorite Chappell Roan and summer hits 🎶✨. We’ll have some light snacks 🍓 and refreshments 🧃 to share, but feel free to bring something if you’re able and want to contribute. Please bring reusable cutlery, cups, and plates if you can! Come for the tunes, stay for the community! 💖

Location

We are hoping to meet by the picnic tables. RSVPs are not required, but helpful so we can communicate any changes in location depending on how busy the park is. RSVPs also help us plan for supplies!

Accessibility

🆓: This event is free and open to queer and trans folks of all ages.

😷: This is a COVID-conscious event. There will be designated masking spaces and masks available.

🚌: The park entrance is across the street from Patterson SkyTrain station. Free transit passes will be available by request.

🍓: A specific list will be shared closer to the event. If you have any dietary considerations, please email [email protected]

🍄  Mycelium 🍄

Mycelium is space for queer & trans youth 16-29 across what is currently known as BC, where we gather to center healing, pleasure, and justice in our lives as we envision and create a world liberated from HIV & Hep C stigma.

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV & Hep C and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.

Land Acknowledgement

Mycelium events take place on traditional, unceded territories of various First Nations in what is now colonially referred to as ‘British Columbia’. We hold this fact in our hearts and actions throughout our work at Mycelium. Our team is committed to an ongoing process of learning what it means to do work on this land in a way that brings us closer to Indigenous Sovereignty.

Mycelium offers online and in person programs organized by coordinators based on the traditional, unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil Waututh), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Qayqayt, Stz’uminus, Lheidli T'enneh, and Dakehl Keyoh.

We invite you to find out what territory you will be joining this event here.

Will you come?
