Show off your true colours with Mycelium! This fun event is perfect for those who love using make-up as a form of self-expression and an exploration of queerness – and for those who are just getting started! RSVP by May 9th to receive a makeup starter pack, including eyeshadow, eye-primer, mascara, eyeliner, and brushes!
Mycelium is space for queer & trans youth 16-29 across what is currently known as BC, where we gather to center healing, pleasure, and justice in our lives as we envision and create a world liberated from HIV & Hep C stigma.
We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV & Hep C and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.
This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-29 years old.
The event will be held over Zoom, an online video meeting platform. Participants will need access to a device with a screen, sound, mic and internet capabilities like a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop to participate. Closed captioning will be available.
A zoom link/meeting ID will be shared with participants prior to the event.
If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Skye @ [email protected] or 778-349-8374 for more information.
Mycelium events take place on traditional, unceded territories of various First Nations in what is now colonially referred to as ‘British Columbia’. We hold this fact in our hearts and actions throughout our work at Mycelium. Our team is committed to an ongoing process of learning what it means to do work on this land in a way that brings us closer to Indigenous Sovereignty.
Mycelium offers online and in person programs organized by coordinators based on the traditional, unceded territories of the
