Yuusnewas Core Group

Yuusnewas core group is a space for Indigenous youth to gather, build community and explore topics that are important to us as indigenous youth. Throughout the next 3 months, we will be taking a decolonial approach to topics such as Health and our culture, Reclaiming our power in health spaces, and cultural healings.

We believe giving youth a space to connect, share, and build skills is important as our Indigenous youth are integral in the movement of our communities. we strive to give our youth the platform and skill building opportunities to continue to thrive within community and further.

• An honorarium of $300 will be provided to part, distributed in $50 amounts monthly between May 2023 and June 2023. Coming to our meetings is required to receive the honorarium.
