Join us on the land at the Harmony Garden on July 31st for a fun filled day of knowledge sharing and Three Sisters Garden fun! We will spend our day getting our hands dirty, exploring community engagement, sharing stories, and making friendships!

We will be starting our day at 9am and we encourage you to grab a provided snack and coffee during this time, so we can get started on our gardening ventures right away and beat the heat! We have some work to do to get the garden plot ready for our three sisters, so come prepared to get diggin’!

Our lovely collaborators, Tea and Desireah, will tell us all about our plant friends that make up the Three Sisters Garden; they will go over the importance of each plant and their role in companion planting. By learning about the relationship between these three sisters, we will explore the parallels between companion planting and community engagement.

We will order lunch for 1pm. Please contact us if you have any dietary restrictions. After we have finished lunch we will have a closing circle and reflect on the new roots we have planted together.

We hope to see you there!

This means there are many pollens in the air, pollinators flying about and crawling friends around.
