🌟 Exciting News for Camp Families! 🌟

Dear Camp Families,

We hope everyone is excited about the upcoming summer season! Summer Camp will take place between July 14 to 19 this year. Preparations for camp are underway, and we have some big changes that we're excited to share!

Rest assured, all the classic camp activities will return, from canoeing to campfires, and our cherished wishing star tradition. We're making sure that every camper and volunteer is supported to have a fun and safe time. One of the main improvements is our new training program for staff and volunteers involved. This training will cover essential information about HIV, anti-oppressive language, and best practices for supporting youth. 

We're also introducing our camp coordinators, Jibreel and Jessamyn. Jibreel is a previous camp volunteer! Jibreel has been our One-to-One support worker for over two years. He brings his incredible expertise and passion for supporting youth. Jibreel has over 7 years of experience working in the healthcare sector and finds joy in helping people. Jessamyn is also a previous camp volunteer and current staff member. Jessamyn brings their background in youth programming, sex education, support work, and love for the outdoors.
