Scholarships Available!

YouthCO is excited to offer our first-ever scholarships for youth living with HIV! The application deadline has been extended to August 30th, 2013.

Several awards from $500 - $2000 are available. Read more to find out if this is a fit for you or for someone you know.

Who:              All youth 21 and younger living in British Columbia who are HIV positive are eligible for these awards. Recipients will be selected based on community involvement and demonstrated need. 

What:             Several scholarships will be awarded from $500 - $2000. These awards can be used for any educational opportunities, including post-secondary studies, conference attendance, or course registration. 

Where:           YouthCO is Canada's only youth-driven HIV and Hep C organization and is based in Vancouver, BC. Scholarships are available for positive youth who have permanent residence in British Columbia, even if education is taking place elsewhere.

When:             The deadline is August 30th, 2013. Scholarships will be awarded by September 1, 2013.

Why:               Youth Living with HIV have knowledge, resilience, and amazing ideas. This scholarship intends to strengthen our community of young positive leaders.

How:               Complete our application form and checklist. You will need a reference letter as well as proof of enrolment to help demonstrate need. Please note that all submitted information will be kept confidential.
