This event is located on the traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh.
Pride season is coming, which means many of us may be going out to party and celebrate how far we’ve come in our own journeys. Our community has also come a long way since the western gay rights movement. From remembering a time when homosexuality was illegal to honoring the folks who spoke up and fought for LGBTQ rights, this discussion night aims to help us feel more connected to our history.
Come join us in a discussion on this very important topic, and talk and learn more about our colourful history.

Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. Our washroom is gender inclusive, but unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
Mpowerment events are planned by and for young self-identified men who are gay, bi, or queer. We invite all guys who like guys and their friends to attend!
