We are back with our discussion night and this time it’s how to party hard, by partying safe!

Come for a peer-led discussion night with our guest facilitator Stevie, who will help us learn more about harm reduction. Together we will explore the ways we can have fun, while also staying safe. Harm reduction can show up in so many different ways as we engage in sex and drug use as queer and trans folks, so come prepared with any questions you have, and experiences you’d like to share with your community.

We will have FREE sushi dinner ready at 6.30PM!
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages 19 to 29 years old to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.

This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

ACCESSIBILITY

This event is free to attend and open to young people ages 19 to 29 years old.

Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. We have two all gender washrooms, one of which is a large accessible washroom.

We ask that you join us in making this event as scent-reduced as possible. This means maybe using fragrance-free products in lieu of any scented-products you may usually use.

A variety of dinner options will be available including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and meat options.

If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Joelle at [email protected] or 604-688-1441 for more information
