Come visit the Richmond Night Market with fellow queer and trans folx from all over the Lower Mainland for FREE (admission is on us!)! Join Mpowerment fam as we explore the popular Richmond Night Market, try the infamous deep-fried watermelon, and soak up the last of summer! We will also enjoy the dinosaur exhibit and live local acts throughout the night!

We will meetup in front of the Richmond Night Market (8351 River Road – One Block Away from Bridgeport Station Canada Line) 

around 6:30PM and then head in together for 7PM.

Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages *19 to 29 years old* to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.

This event will be taking place on the unceded and occupied territories of the sc̓əwaθenaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsawwassen)
S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Kwantlen, Stz'uminus, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm , on whose traditional and unceded territories we live, we learn, we play and we do our work.

ACCESSIBILITY

Due to the venue being an open space environment, this will be a scent-reduced event, though we cannot ensure that vendors or other attendees won’t bring food containing nuts or peanuts. There is a possibility of exposure to airborne particles from nuts and fruits for those with airborne allergies.

This venue and event are wheelchair accessible presently.

This event is FREE and open to queer and gender diverse youth ages 19-29 years old.
