Honouring 50 years since Stonewall, Our Queerstories is an opportunity to gather and explore what it means to have inherited both the strength and struggle of our movement.
Together we will learn about our histories and how it continues to impact our everyday lives.
How far have we come and where are we going? Come and meet other Queer, Trans, and Two-Spirit folks living in the region and let's together learn how our Queer & Trans ancestors have gotten us this far!
We can provide bus tickets or transport pick ups if you contact us! If you have any questions leading up to the event, please email Emily @ [email protected].
To get in touch with me on the day of the event, please call or text 604-838-2556!
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages 19 to 29 years old to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!
We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.
This event will be taking place on the unceded and occupied territories of the Chawathil First Nation, Nlaka'pamux First Nations, and Yale Nation.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
