This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
It's that time of year where the cold, damp and sometimes snowy west coast winter thaws into spring!
To mark the season, you are cordially invited to our Spring Fling for an exciting night of great music, dancing, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food, games, and more! :)
At this Spring Fling we will be choosing Spring Royalty via a lucky draw -- you'll get to go home with a gift basket, a crown of flowers, and a noticeable surrounding aura of floral regalia!
Dress up, dress down, come as you are or come as your favourite teen movie character but just come because you don’t want to miss this!

Mpowerment is a queer-centered, trans-inclusive, and gender affirming space for young adults (19 - 29 years old) to meet, make friends, and talk about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure. We work to create safer spaces for all young people including those of us living with HIV.
This event is FREE to attend with drinks for purchase and open to all ages for entry, however alcohol will only be served to attendees 19 years or older with ID.
Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. We have two, all gender washrooms, one of which is a large accessible washroom.
Vegetarian and meat options will be provided, along with water, soda, tea and juice.
We ask that you join us in making this event as scent-reduced as possible. This means maybe using fragrance-free products in lieu of any scented-products you may usually use.
This will be a nut-free and peanut-free event. Please refrain from bringing any food items containing nuts or peanuts into the space to ensure participants are not exposed to harmful allergens.
This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-29 years old.
If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Ivan @ [email protected] for more information.
