Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages 19 to 29 years old to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!
We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.
This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
ACCESIBILITY
Due to the venue being an open-air environment, this will not be a scent-reduced event, and we cannot ensure that others at Stanley Park won’t bring food containing nuts or peanuts. There is a possibility of exposure to airborne particles from nuts and fruits for those with airborne allergies.
This venue is not wheelchair accessible presently. We have informed the Park Board of the City of Vancouver to look into this, and to have more information on their website regarding wheelchair accessibility for trails out in Stanley Park in the future.
This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-29 years old.
If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Joelle @ [email protected] for more information.
