Join us for our monthly discussion night, where we welcome folx to exchange thoughts, experiences, and feelings around coming out to/inviting in others about our queer identities!

This month we will be talking about experiences around coming out to our communities, and what those experiences have been for each of us. What are the barriers we’ve faced to coming out? How have our communities responded to our identities? What are the stories we can share about other moments of vulnerability? Does everyone identify with the experience of “coming out”?

Come share with us, over some sushi and snacks!! : )

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.

Mpowerment is a queer-centered, trans-inclusive, and gender affirming space for young adults (19 - 29 years old) to meet, make friends, and talk about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure. We work to create safer spaces for all young people including those of us living with HIV.
