This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Join us for an evening of easy-to-learn art-making, tasty food, and great conversation. Meet some people, make some friends, and get to take home your artwork.

At this art night, we’ll have some canvases and paint available for us to make art. No experience necessary, and we’ll provide support to you in painting anything you dream up!

We will also have coloring sheets available for those who prefer that. :)

Pizza will be ready at 6:30PM, so be sure to come by early to grab a slice while it’s warm.

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Mpowerment is a queer-centered, trans-inclusive, and gender affirming space for young adults (19 - 29 years old) to meet, make friends, and talk about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure. We work to create safer spaces for all young people including those of us living with HIV.

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

ACCESSIBILITY

Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. We have two, all gender washrooms, one of which is a large accessible washroom.

Vegetarian and meat options will be provided, along with tea, juice, soda and water.

We ask that you join us in making this event as scent-reduced as possible. This means maybe using fragrance-free products in lieu of any scented-products you may usually use.

We will try our best to provide art-making tools and mediums which are least scented as possible, to commit to keeping a fragrant-free environment.

This will be a nut-free and peanut-free event. Please refrain from bringing any food items containing nuts or peanuts into the space to ensure participants are not exposed to harmful allergens.

This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-29 years old.

If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Ivan @ [email protected] for more information.
