Gays, Games, and Testing (Level 2)

When: April 12, 2016 at 6:00pm - 9pm

Where: Mpowerment Headquarters

MPOWERMENT'S GAYS, GAMES AND TESTING [LEVEL 2] (Don't worry if you skipped Level 1.)

Back by popular demand, Mpowerment is hosting another night of Gays, Games, and Testing-- because we can never play enough video games, and frequent regular testing keeps us healthy.

What’s a better way to make friends than to beat them in a round of Smash Bros or Mario Kart 8? Come join us at Mpowerment for an evening of video games and board games. Games will go on till late!

We’ll also have nurses at YouthCO that night who will be offering HIV/STI testing! Testing at Mpowerment is free and confidential, and will be happening from 6:30 to 8:30. It is also a chance to speak with the nurse and learn more about our sexual health. Testing is one of many ways we can take care of ourselves and our partners! In between rounds of Smash Bros, take some time to get tested, and then go play some more!
Sign-up for testing will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will have two nurses join us this evening and will aim to test as many guys as we can.

This event is located on the traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh.

Mpowerment Headquarters is held at YouthCO, which is currently wheelchair accessible. The washroom at YouthCO is single stall and gender-neutral, and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
For further accessibility information on YouthCO's space, please message us, or check:
(The linked document has not been updated since our wheelchair accessible washroom has been out-of-order).

Mpowerment events are planned by and for young self-identified men who are gay, bi, or queer. We invite all guys who like guys and their friends to attend!

Will you come?
