Event Description 

Mycelium's got our metaphorical 🥊 FISTS UP 🥊 at our PowerPoint Party! With passion, strong opinions, and/or info dumping, folks will be given 10-15 minutes each to present a slideshow on anything and everything we are excited to share or even "fight" about. Topics can range from serious and political to hilarious and personal, we only ask that folks stay mindful of our Mycelium and YouthCO Values! In any case, we can't wait to see everyone's special interests and powerful stances while we decompress and debate in a non-judgemental and fun way! Let's find out what gets our friends fired up 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mycelium Description 

Mycelium is space for queer & trans youth 16-29 across what is currently known as BC, where we gather to center healing, pleasure, and justice in our lives as we envision and create a world liberated from HIV & Hep C stigma. 

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV & Hep C and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships, and all the things that bring us pleasure. 

Land Acknowledgement 

Mycelium events take place on traditional, unceded territories of various First Nations in what is now colonially referred to as ‘British Columbia’. We hold this fact in our hearts and actions throughout our work at Mycelium. Our team is committed to an ongoing process of learning what it means to do work on this land in a way that brings us closer to Indigenous Sovereignty.
