Do You Mind: Community Pilot Project

Calling all queer & trans youth leaders living in the Fraser Valley to join YouthCO and the CBRC in finding a new way to advocate for our mental health!

This fall, youth between he ages of 19-24 will have the opportunity to pilot a new project in the Fraser Valley of our own making! For 5 weeks we will gather as we plan and prepare an online resource to support us in navigating challenging conversations about our mental health. 

An honoraria of $50 will be available to all participants for every meeting we are able to attend. Meal certificates will be provided for all meetings. 

Due to provincial standards in response to COVID-19, all meetings will be hosted online via Zoom. Please RSVP to receive the meeting link. 

Please RSVP no later than Friday October 23rd at 5:00pm. Working groups will meet every Thursday beginning the last week of October and run through November. 

A doodle poll will be sent following our RSVP to find a time that works best for the group.

A leadership appreciation evening will be held Thursday December 3rd

ACCESIBILITY

This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-24 years old.

The event will be held over Zoom, an online video meeting platform. Participants will need access to a device with a screen, sound, mic and internet capabilities like a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop to participate.
