Did you know: Someone living with HIV can be charged with aggravated sexual assault even if their partner agrees to have sex with them.

Are you aware of how the criminal law is connected to your sex life? What do we know about HIV, and do these laws know know about HIV? Do these laws protect us from HIV?

It’s important that we all understand the current laws surrounding HIV in Canada, and also to be critical of these laws. No matter your level of awareness of HIV/HIV Criminalization, we invite you to join us in this evening discussion where we’ll be looking into how HIV laws affect us, and exploring strategies to resist HIV stigma in our communities.

Snacks will be provided.

Mpowerment events are planned by and for young self-identified men who are gay, bi, or queer. We invite all guys who like guys and their friends to attend!

Will you come?
