This event is located on the traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh.

At Mpowerment Discussion Nights, we have casual conversations over snacks. Join us in our conversation about how gay, bi, and queer guys are portrayed in the media: on TV, film, news, and online. Are stereotypes changing? Who’s being represented? What do we want to see more of? Let’s discuss!

Snacks provided.

*ASL interpretation can be made available on request. If you would like ASL interpretation, please contact us through a message, email us at [email protected], or comment on the event wall by May 3rd*

Mpowerment Headquarters is held at YouthCO, which is currently wheelchair accessible. The washroom at YouthCO is single stall and gender-neutral, and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. (We are currently working on a solution to this and will update this event page accordingly.)
For further accessibility information on YouthCO's space, please message us, or check: http://tinyurl.com/nklow49
(The linked document has not been updated since our wheelchair accessible washroom has been out-of-order).

Mpowerment events are planned by and for young self-identified men who are gay, bi, or queer. We invite all guys who like guys and their friends to attend!

Will you come?
