How do we describe our attraction to different people? Does it matter? What are the ways our attractions don’t neatly fit into the words we commonly use?
Join us for this month’s discussion, where will talk about how our experiences with sexualities can sometimes not fit neatly into most of the words we use to describe ourselves.
Come share with us, over some pizza and snacks!! :)
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Mpowerment is a queer-centered, trans-inclusive, and gender affirming space for young adults (19 - 29 years old) to meet, make friends, and talk about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure. We work to create safer spaces for all young people including those of us living with HIV.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
ACCESSIBILITY
Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. We have two, all gender washrooms, one of which is a large accessible washroom.
Vegetarian and meat options will be provided, along with tea, juice, soda and water.
We ask that you join us in making this event as scent-reduced as possible. This means maybe using fragrance-free products in lieu of any scented-products you may usually use.
We will try our best to provide art-making tools and mediums which are least scented as possible, to commit to keeping a fragrant-free environment.
This will be a nut-free and peanut-free event. Please refrain from bringing any food items containing nuts or peanuts into the space to ensure participants are not exposed to harmful allergens.
This event is FREE and open to youth ages 19-29 years old.
