Happy April, YouthCO Members :)

We can practically smell summer around the corner with the past little bit of sun. Hope you caught some rays this weekend... safely, of course #sunscreen #harmreduction.

Here is our newest newsletter with awesome award-winners, cool conferences, job opportunities with Pride, and opportunities to volunteer with YouthCO!

3. Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities

YouthCO Summer Outreach Team

We're planning a training in June for anyone who has already done Core Training and is interested in joining our summer outreach team!

What could be more fun than handing out buckets full of condoms and talking about safer sex? Come and learn how to get comfortable chatting to the public at this handy dandy outreach training just in time for summer.

Mark your calendars early for Thursday June 12 @ 6:30pm and make sure to RSVP on the website

Beaches and festivals and Pride, oh my!

We'll need some volunteers on July 10th to help with our 20th Anniversary festivities. Email [email protected] if you're interested in getting involved with the party.

Hershe Coat Check

Curious about Hershe? Just want to help out YouthCO?

We're in need of some wonderful volunteers to help do coat check at these events. Hershe is a party for girls who like girls and it's always a fun time! You'd get in for free and coat check proceeds go to YouthCO.

Email [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook if you're interested in being added to the list.

Vancouver Pride Society is HIRING!

These look like fantastic opportunities to get involved over the summer and gain some valuable work experience. Applicants must be post-secondary students who intend on returning to school in September 2014.
