If you are between the ages of 19-29 and are interested in building and refining your leadership in community health, we hope you will join us as we unpack the social and interpersonal challenges that queer & trans youth face when it comes to our sexual and reproductive health together.

YouthCO and the Community Based Research Center (CBRC) are teaming up to deliver our first annual sexual and reproductive health initiative for queer & trans youth living in the lower mainland of what is colonially referred to as BC. We will gather with other youth leaders across the lower mainland for a two-day leadership retreat, where we will receive training in sexual and reproductive health, project planning, and community organizing. Following the retreat we will have the opportunity to apply the skills we have learned in piloting a new sexual and reproductive health initiative of our own design in our communities!

The retreat will take place between 9:30AM-5PM on Saturday, October 15th & Sunday, October 16th.

Participants will revive $200 honoraria for attending the retreat and an additional $200 honoraria for participating in the following pilot project.

After RSVPing you will receive an email from us with a link to the application. Please fill out the application by September 2nd, 2022 to be considered for this opportunity.
