Get ready to make your mark in shattering stigma at Stigma Bash 2016! This prelude to the Gay Men’s Health Summit is the place to be if you’re into a night of partying, socializing, and wine.

Mix, mingle, and meet like-minded stigma warriors, including some of the presenters of the Summit. Refreshments and light nibbles will be served, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Wine will be available.

The Investigaytors are a group of young gay guys learning to do research in Gay Men’s Health. Mpowerment is an HIV leadership program that hosts social and educational events for young, gay, bi and queer guys. HIM operates throughout the Lower Mainland and is dedicated to strengthening the health and well-being of gay men.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the CBRC Investigaytor's program.

This event will take place on two floors of the YouthCO office. Only one level (the main space) is wheelchair accessible. Our bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. We are working to have an agreement set up with a nearby cafe, for their washroom. The USA presidential election will be live-streamed in a wheelchair accessible room.

ASL interpretation will be made available if requested by Oct. 28, 2pm. If you would like ASL interpretation, please contact us through a message, email us at, or comment on the event wall by Oct. 28th, 2pm.

Will you come?

YouthCO's office is located on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh people. Our programs take place on unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of many Indigenous nations across what is now called BC.

YouthCO believes that all youth have the right to accessible and affirming information about our health. We also know each of us has a unique relationship to our bodies, sex, sexuality, substance use, and harm reduction. For many of us, the words other people use for our bodies and their functions are not the words we use for ourselves. Throughout our website, YouthCO uses words for bodies and sex that we know will not reflect the full diversity of our communities. We have tried to, where possible, be as expansive with our language as we know how to while being as specific as possible. As youth leading the HIV movement, we too are learning about the best words for our experiences and do not do this perfectly. We invite any feedback about the language used on our website to help us move forward in the best ways for all youth in our communities!
