Super sweet, has a dog, can cook, oh my! Whether our partners are telling us about their cute dog, or disclosing their status, it’s important to recognize how stigma can affect the way we view the world. Stigma can make it hard to have an open and honest conversation about our needs, relationships, and health. The important thing is being respectful of our partners, and getting the information we need to feel confident in our decisions and relationships. So whatever our HIV status or viral load, supporting our friends can be one way to #resiststigma.
