Come Home

In 2012, Elder Gerry Oleman shared an Elder's perspective on youth, wellness, and respect in Indigenous communities. Indigenous youth Doreeal Mearns, Justin Russell, Jonathan Hansen, Keesha Stevens-Howard, Jeremy Jones, Andrew R. Tom, Wilf Phasway Jr., and Adrienne Greyeyes, created this film, Come Home.

This film was made as part of the First Directions program, which brings together Indigenous youth to connect with our culture, deepen our response to HIV and Hep C stigma, and produce films that give voice to our experience and ideas about decolonization.
