Fakes, Friends, or Foes

Queer and trans communities can be an awesome place… but some of the messages we hear can end up reinforcing harmful stigma, stereotypes, and discrimination towards us and others perceived as “different”– whether because we are queer and/or trans, or because of other intersections of our experience and identities.

Join Mpowerment for a conversation about how these messages can show up in our lives and in our communities, and how we can break them down and make change for the better! 

Afterwards, we’ll make space for a debrief for anyone that would like some time to talk things through.
