 
Sexual Health Workshops
YouthCO's Sexual Health Programs offer a variety of flexible and interactive games and workshops on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, negotiating safer sex and sexual self-esteem. Our workshop formats and content are flexible and may be customized to meet the needs of your group. Each workshop runs approximately 90 minutes.
Our workshop fees are $60//workshop. This fee helps to off-set the costs associated with volunteer transportation, training and recognition. Our goal is to educate, not create barriers. As such, partial and full subsidies are available for applicable groups and organization. Email the Sexual Health Programs Coordinator for more information on applying to our Subsidy Program.

HIV 101 - The Basics is an introduction to the basics of HIV/AIDS covering:
- definitions (including the difference between HIV and AIDS)
- disease progression
- transmission
- protection
- condom demonstrations and the distribution of printed materials and condoms when appropriate
Building Positive Sexual Self-Esteem for Youth is a discussion-based workshop looking at:
- what sexual self-esteem is
- why it's important and how to build it
- why it can be more difficult for youth from more marginalized groups to achieve sexual self esteem
- the connection between sexual self-esteem and the ability to make safer sexual health decisions
Risky Business is a game show-style workshop that:
- uses multi-media formats
- is appropriate for youth ages 17 and up
- is designed to for large groups (ranging in size from 20-100 youth)
- covers topics pertaining to sex, sexulities and substance use
- brings a little sass to HIV savvy
