Have you wondered what queer and trans-specific sex-ed would’ve looked like in highschool? Or what it would be feel like if a family or friend started a discussion with you about the many ways our bodies interact with each other?

Well, come get a gist of what that could be like at our Check Me Out! discussion night, where we will delve a little more into what sex, dating and relationships mean for us as queer and trans young people.

We will have a FREE dinner, an icebreaker, and questions to prompt us to get the discussion going about STIs, our bodies, our feelings, and the many identities we carry that informs how we approach our health and wellness!

Word on the street is that mini burgers and fried chicken will be served HOT at 6.30PM, so bring a friend and come early!!

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages 19 to 29 years old to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.

This event will be taking place on the ancestral, unceded, and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
