Bad Witch Wednesday: Zodiac Soirée

Calling all witches, ghouls, and zodiac enthusiasts – it’s witching hour, and we are gathering to celebrate our best zodiac signs this Halloween!

Come dressed up as your Sun, Moon, or Rising Sign, and stand a chance to win a Fenty lipstick from Rihanna’s Zodiac line. The runner-up gets to go home with Timmies gift cards and an Mpowerment Swag Bag!

We’ll have FREE tarot readings, board games, vegan cupcakes, and pizza served HOT at 6.30PM!

The contest winner is by majority vote – if you prefer not to dress up, come on down for the fun time and vote for your top pick! :)

Please RSVP so we can order the right amount of food! THANK YOU!

Feeling like a REAL Bad Witch?

Summon your coven, and head over to The Junction for the Spill the Tea event happening later in the evening to continue the witchy festivities!!
The first 10 people will get a free ticket at the end of the night for Spill The Tea!

Mpowerment is a space for queer and trans young people ages 19 to 29 years old to meet, have fun and support each other in making informed decisions about our sexual health!

We are committed to reducing stigma related to HIV and to building communities where we feel safe talking about the highs and lows of sex, drugs, relationships and all the things that bring us pleasure.

This event will be taking place on the unceded and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh nations.

This event is free to attend and open to young people ages 19 to 29 years old.

Our space is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. We have two all gender washrooms, one of which is a large accessible washroom.

We ask that you join us in making this event as scent-reduced as possible. This means maybe using fragrance-free products in lieu of any scented-products you may usually use.

We will have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options!

If your needs to access this event are not mentioned above, please contact Joelle at or 604-688-1441 for more information.

Will you come?

YouthCO's office is located on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh people. Our programs take place on unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of many Indigenous nations across what is now called BC.

YouthCO believes that all youth have the right to accessible and affirming information about our health. We also know each of us has a unique relationship to our bodies, sex, sexuality, substance use, and harm reduction. For many of us, the words other people use for our bodies and their functions are not the words we use for ourselves. Throughout our website, YouthCO uses words for bodies and sex that we know will not reflect the full diversity of our communities. We have tried to, where possible, be as expansive with our language as we know how to while being as specific as possible. As youth leading the HIV movement, we too are learning about the best words for our experiences and do not do this perfectly. We invite any feedback about the language used on our website to help us move forward in the best ways for all youth in our communities!
